Seller Guidelines

Trust is the foundation of LookAtPets. Every breeder, rescue, farm, and vendor agrees to these guidelines in addition to the Terms of Service and Community Standards.

Listing quality

• Photos must be of the actual animal you're listing.
• Health, age, lineage, and registry information must be accurate.
• Pricing and adoption fees must be clearly stated.

Animal welfare

• Comply with all federal, state, and local animal-welfare laws.
• Provide humane housing, veterinary care, and socialization.
• Disclose known genetic, behavioral, or medical conditions.

Reservations & transactions

• Respond to inquiries promptly and honestly.
• Use clear, written contracts. Honor refund and return terms you publish.
• Never misrepresent registration papers, health certificates, or lineage.

Enforcement

Violations may result in listing removal, account restriction, suspension, or referral to regulatory authorities for serious cases (animal cruelty, fraud, wildlife trafficking).
