What we use
- Strictly necessary — session, authentication, CSRF.
- Functional — remembering preferences such as compare drawer state.
- Analytics — counters used to improve the platform; what they record, and your choices, are described under “Measurement” below.
Your choices
You can block cookies in your browser. Some platform features may not work without strictly necessary cookies.
Measurement choice
We count visits to listings, seller pages and Academy articles, searches and whether they found results, and newsletter sign-ups. They never record what you type into a search or the contents of your messages. No other measurement is running.
Until you choose, these counts carry no identifier and nothing is stored on your device. Allowing identifiers adds a random viewer token kept on this device and the campaign tag of the link you arrived from for up to 30 days. Your choice is kept on this device for 12 months.
If you are signed in, your listing and article views are counted only when you allow identifiers, because otherwise they would be stored with your account.
"Don't allow any measurement", or a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal from your browser, stops all of this at once and erases what was stored.
Status: Basic page counts only — no identifiers stored on your device.
